Complete off-grid capable solar installation for a family home in Klerksdorp. The system was designed to handle the household's peak loads while providing backup power during load shedding.
The Challenge
The client needed a system that could power essential loads during extended load shedding periods while maximizing daytime solar usage to reduce their R4,500 monthly electricity bill.
Our Solution
We installed a Sunsynk 8kW hybrid inverter paired with 16 high-efficiency 500W panels and a 10.24kWh lithium battery bank. The system was configured for time-of-use optimization, charging batteries during off-peak hours when solar isn't available.
